Becky’s Story
Becky worked at Coconino High School for 23 years until she retired in 2020. In the fall of 2020, Becky was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of lymphoma. After a year and a half of treatment and an incredible fight of constantly beating the odds, Becky passed away in August 2022.
Working as the Principal’s Secretary at Coconino High School, she was a beloved member of the FUSD staff. She was known for her work ethic and welcoming nature. Becky was genuine in her love for her colleagues and the students they served and would always go the extra mile.
After Becky’s passing colleagues and friends shared with her family how much she impacted them, and the legacy she left behind at Coconino High School and all of FUSD. It inspired her husband and four children to start a scholarship fund to give back and continue that legacy.
